A web-based document retrieval system developed to support the sales and import teams. It centralizes FDA-related documents such as certifications and COAs, allowing quick access and consistent file organization. The system improves cross-department collaboration and reduces document handling time.
Previously, sales staff had to request FDA certification documents from the import department, which manually searched through multiple folders. This process was time-consuming and error-prone due to inconsistent file naming and lack of centralized storage. In many cases, the correct files were difficult to find or missing entirely.
I developed a centralized web system that organizes FDA-related documents under consistent naming conventions, with search and filtering features. The system allows sales staff to retrieve certificates directly within 1–2 minutes, eliminating the need for manual back-and-forth and significantly streamlining the document workflow.
